I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud

BY WILLIAM WORDSWORTH

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
The poem is about an epiphany of a time in the mans life that he often thinks about that was a pleasure in his lifetime. The poem represents a very chill feeling and a happy tone in it. The lighting and color would all reflect on an happy environment.

The coloful book plays a part in my creative eye. Its fun and very inviting and i love the tone it gives off. With hooch id incoporate our school colors and maybe make different suggestions in the font.

The book for dummies is fun, and very branded. gives the eye a feel of remembrance. A mock of the design would be funn

The blue book i was thinking of alot of small houses with one big house and saying blues house, ptsa and etc..

AP Studio Art 2D Digital

My goals this year are to unravel my talents and explore photoshop like i never have. I want to be able to manipulate, create, and produce photography as a design. I expect to flourish this year because of the challenges I’ll face by making my designs within a strict deadline. I am very excited for this year.

Principles of Design

Balance- the overall equilibrium of the picture, you can balance multiple small objects with one large object, or balance images using colors or values.

Contrast – the difference between objects, usually occurs with colors, size, type, and value.

Emphasis- an element that draws the most attention, or is a focal point has this. This part of the design is usually singled out or made to be more prominent.

Figure/Ground- A silhouette, shape, or form is generally perceived as a figure while the area surrounding it is said to be the ground.

Scale/proportion- Scale deals with the objects actual size while proportion is concerned with the objects size ratio.

Repetition- An element where you simply repeat colors, objects, fonts, etc throughout the entire design.

Rhythym- very similar to repetition, creates a consistency that makes a design easier for someone to understand.

Unity/variety- Repetition throughout a design brings everything together to create unity while variety is created from the differences of shapes and colors throughout a design.

Visual Hierarchy is the placement of images according to importance to the overall design/message, usually they are centered around establishing a main focal point for the message. You can use shape, color, content, etc to help establish this. When creating a design you may want to think about placement by thinking of where the reader looks first, second, and so on.

The Z Pattern is a design layout that connects information in a logical order for the reader. The pattern is essentially in the formation of the letter “z” and starts with basic information going along the top line or point 1 to point 2, down across an image or placeholder to point three where it then follows the bottom line of the “Z” with your end information or call to action at point 4. This design is important to the visual layout because it places information in a path that is natural for the human eye to follow.
